Rada’s Ice Cream Scoop is designed to work hard! Rugged construction will never bend so you can scoop down into the thickest, hardest ice cream and come up with a big serving of yum. No release lever on our Ice Cream Scoop—those just get in the way, fill with sticky ice cream, and make it hard to clean.

What handle styles are available?
This utensil has two handle options. The silver handle is made from permanently cast silver brushed aluminum and has a satin finish. The black handle is constructed from black stainless steel resin. Both fit beautifully into any kitchen décor.

Ben and Jerry’s recommends using a sharp implement rather than a blunt scoop in order to avoid forming ice crystals which then degrade the ice cream. Rada recommends hand washing all fine cutlery. Hand washing prevents microscopic dings on a knife blade’s cutting edge, eliminates the harsh environment created by a dishwasher’s high temperatures and abrasive detergents that will negatively affect its handle, and ultimately extends the life of the knife.
While Rada’s black handle knives and utensils are more dishwasher tolerant than the silver handles, hand washing is still recommended.
